How is it almost Christmas? I can surely tell you I am beyond happy the semester is over! It was a busy one..
Recapping on my semester:
August was exciting because my brother turned 30 and school was starting. I always love making a new routine and seeing new faces in my classes but then after the first couple weeks it's not as fun anymore (go figure!)
September was busy because it was gift time at LancĂ´me and I didn't get a weekend off to go home. I went out with some friends, had fun, and made some memories.
October was of course busy with midterms and tedious school work but for some reason I really enjoyed this month. I have always liked October because of the amazing weather, pumpkins, Huskers football, and Halloween!
November was fun because my mommy turned 50! I finally got to see my best friends to catch up and share some laughs. Oh yeah, work got busy with the holidays and I worked my first Black Friday.......I hate retail.
And finally, December. I love the Christmasy spirit and decorations more every year. I was relieved to finally finish my classes, especially calculus, and be done! Before I know it next semester will be here and I'll be in Ireland. Where has time gone?
Tonight is my last night in Kearney until May. It is such a bittersweet feeling and kind of makes me a little emotional! I will miss my bed! However, I can't wait to go home, celebrate with my family, and relax before my journey begins.
Here is a collage of some of my favorite pictures from this past semester...
Love, Emily
